Description

The dmi_apple_processor_bus_speed_t structure holds the decoded Apple processor bus speed information (type 132), which tells the speed of the bus of the processor, e.g. of its front-side bus or QuickPath Interconnect.

The structure is returned by dmi_entity_info for the structures decoded by dmi_apple_processor_bus_speed_spec, of type DMI_TYPE(apple_processor_bus_speed), declared in <opendmi/module/apple.h>, once the Apple extension module (dmi_apple_module) is enabled, which is done for the platforms of Apple firmware when the context has DMI_CONTEXT_FLAG_AUTO_MODULES. It lives as long as the context it has been decoded in.

Fields

speed

Speed of the bus, in megatransfers per second, e.g. 4800 for a QuickPath Interconnect of 4.8 GT/s. OpenCore sets it to four times the external clock of the processor.
