Description
The dmi_firmware_features_ex_t union holds the features of the platform
firmware which the extension bytes of the platform firmware information
structure (type 0) of SMBIOS give. It is the type of the features_ex field
of dmi_firmware_t. Each bit, when set, tells that the feature is supported.
The first byte is present since SMBIOS 2.1, and the second one since SMBIOS 2.3; the bits of a byte the structure does not carry are 0.
Fields
__value-
Both bytes, as stored.
acpi_support-
ACPI.
usb_legacy_support-
USB legacy support.
agp_support-
AGP.
boot_i2o-
Boot from I2O devices.
boot_ls120-
Boot from LS-120 SuperDisk.
boot_atapi_zip-
Boot from ATAPI ZIP drives.
boot_ieee1394-
Boot from IEEE 1394 devices.
smart_battery-
Smart battery.
bios_boot_spec-
BIOS Boot Specification. Present since SMBIOS 2.3, as all the following bits.
boot_network_fn_key-
Network boot started by a function key.
content_distribution-
The SMBIOS data identifies the system well enough for the targeted distribution of software and firmware.
uefi_spec-
UEFI specification.
virtual_machine-
The system is a virtual machine. A clear bit tells nothing.
mfg_mode_support-
Manufacturing mode, a boot mode used while the system is manufactured and tested.
mfg_mode_enabled-
Manufacturing mode is enabled.
