dmi_processor_arm_id
Synopsis
#include <opendmi/entity/processor.h>
typedef struct dmi_processor_arm_id {
uint8_t implementer;
uint8_t variant;
uint8_t architecture;
uint16_t part_number;
uint8_t revision;
} dmi_processor_arm_id_t;
Description
The dmi_processor_arm_id_t structure holds the processor identifier of an
Arm processor, decoded from the processor information structure (type 4) of
SMBIOS: the Main ID Register (MIDR, or MIDR_EL1 on 64-bit processors).
It is the arm_id field of dmi_processor_t, set when the id_format field
of it is DMI_PROCESSOR_ID_FORMAT_MIDR: for 32-bit Arm processors, and for
64-bit ones which do not report a SoC identifier.
Fields
implementer-
Implementer code, bits 24 to 31 of the register, for example 0x41 for Arm.
variant-
Variant number, the major revision of the processor, bits 20 to 23.
architecture-
Architecture code, bits 16 to 19.
part_number-
Primary part number, bits 4 to 15.
revision-
Revision number, the minor revision of the processor, bits 0 to 3.
