Description
The dmi_intel_vpro_bios_caps_t union holds the capabilities of the BIOS, as Intel vPro information gives them. It is the type of the bios_capabilities field of dmi_intel_vpro_t.
The union is packed into a double word: the bits can be read either one by
one, as bit fields, or all together, as __value.
Fields
__value-
All the bits, as the double word the structure carries them in,
is_vtx_configurablebeing bit 0. is_vtx_configurable,is_vtd_configurable,is_txt_configurable,is_tpm_configurable,is_me_configurable-
Set if VT-x, VT-d, Trusted Execution Technology, the TPM or the Management Engine can be set in the setup of the BIOS.
is_va_supported-
Set if the BIOS supports the extensions of the Virtual Appliance, the ACPI operation region.
is_spi_data_reserved-
Set if the platform data area of the SPI flash is reserved.
va_version-
Highest version of the Virtual Appliance the BIOS supports: 0 for 2.6, 1 for 3.0, the other values being reserved. The structure holds it in the
va_versionfield ofdmi_intel_vpro_tas well. __reserved-
Reserved bits, zero.
