dmi_oob_connections

Synopsis

#include <opendmi/entity/oob-remote-access.h>

typedef union dmi_oob_connections {
    dmi_byte_t __value;
    struct {
        dmi_byte_t is_inbound_enabled  : 1;
        dmi_byte_t is_outbound_enabled : 1;
        dmi_byte_t __reserved          : 6;
    };
} dmi_oob_connections_t;

Description

The dmi_oob_connections_t union holds the connections an out-of-band remote access facility is allowed to accept and to make. It is the type of the connections field of dmi_oob_remote_access_t.

The union is packed into a single byte: the flags can be read either one by one, as bit fields, or all together, as __value.

Fields

__value

All the flags, as the byte the structure carries them in, is_inbound_enabled being bit 0.

is_inbound_enabled

Set if the facility accepts incoming connections, for remote operation or problem management.

is_outbound_enabled

Set if the facility may open connections to an alert management facility when critical conditions occur.

__reserved

Reserved bits, zero.

Standards

DMTF SMBIOS Specification (DSP0134), version 2.2 or newer.
