Description
The dmi_intel_rsd_phys_device_t structure describes the physical location of
one device listed by a physical device mapping structure of Intel Rack Scale
Design (RSD) firmware: the structure describing the device, and the numbers
which locate it. All numbers are zero-based.
The elements are held in the devices array of
dmi_intel_rsd_phys_device_mapping_t, and live as long as the context the
mapping has been decoded in.
Fields
handle-
Handle of the structure describing the device: a processor (type 4), system slot (type 9) or memory device (type 17) structure, as
typetells. The handle is not resolved to an entity, and thelink.wrong-typelint rule reports one which refers to a structure of another type than the onetypenames. type-
Type of the device, the
device_typefield of the mapping structure. primary_number-
First location number: the socket of a processor, the processor socket a memory device belongs to, or the riser of a PCIe slot.
secondary_number-
Second location number: the DIMM slot of a memory device within its processor, or the slot within the riser for a PCIe slot. Reserved for processors.
is_raw-
Set if
typeis none of the known device types, includingDMI_INTEL_RSD_PHYS_DEVICE_TYPE_INVALID: the location numbers mean nothing then, anddatais what the command line tool shows. data-
The location bytes, as stored in the structure. The data points into the structure and lives as long as the context.
