dmi_processor_soc_id

Synopsis

#include <opendmi/entity/processor.h>

typedef struct dmi_processor_soc_id {
    uint8_t  jep106_bank;
    uint8_t  jep106_id;
    uint16_t soc_id;
    uint32_t soc_revision;
} dmi_processor_soc_id_t;

Description

The dmi_processor_soc_id_t structure holds the processor identifier of an Arm64 processor which reports a SoC identifier, decoded from the processor information structure (type 4) of SMBIOS. The values are the ones the SMCCC_ARCH_SOC_ID call of the Arm SMC Calling Convention returns, and identify the system in package (SiP) and its vendor.

It is the soc_id field of dmi_processor_t, set when the id_format field of it is DMI_PROCESSOR_ID_FORMAT_SOC_ID, that is, when the processor family is an Arm64 one and the arm64_soc_id characteristic is set.

Fields

jep106_bank

JEDEC JEP106 bank index (continuation code) of the SiP vendor, 7 bits.

jep106_id

JEDEC JEP106 identification code of the SiP vendor, 7 bits.

soc_id

SoC identifier, defined by the SiP vendor.

soc_revision

SoC revision, defined by the SiP vendor, 31 bits.

Standards

DMTF SMBIOS Specification (DSP0134), version 3.4 or newer.
