Description

The dmi_tpm_firmware_version_format_t enumeration tells how the firmware version of a TPM device has been parsed, which depends on the major version of the TPM specification the device supports. It is the type of the firmware_version_format field of dmi_tpm_device_t. The values are the library’s own, and do not appear in the SMBIOS data.

DMI_TPM_FIRMWARE_VERSION_FORMAT_RAW

Unknown TPM version: the firmware version is only available as stored, in the firmware_version field.

DMI_TPM_FIRMWARE_VERSION_FORMAT_TPM_1

TPM 1.x: the firmware_revision field holds the revision taken from the TCPA_VERSION structure.

DMI_TPM_FIRMWARE_VERSION_FORMAT_TPM_2

TPM 2.0: the firmware_version_2 field holds the version taken from the TPM_PT_FIRMWARE_VERSION_1 and TPM_PT_FIRMWARE_VERSION_2 properties.

Not part of the SMBIOS specification: the values are defined by OpenDMI to describe the TPM device structure (type 43) of the DMTF SMBIOS Specification (DSP0134), version 3.1 or newer.
