dmi_hpe_rack_locator

Synopsis

#include <opendmi/entity/hpe/rack-locator.h>

typedef struct dmi_hpe_rack_locator {
    const char *rack_name;
    const char *enclosure_name;
    const char *enclosure_model;
    const char *server_bay;
    uint8_t bay_count;
    uint8_t filled_bay_count;
    const char *enclosure_serial;
} dmi_hpe_rack_locator_t;

Description

The dmi_hpe_rack_locator_t structure holds the decoded HP/HPE system/rack locator, which tells where a blade server is: the rack, the enclosure and the bay.

The structure is returned by dmi_entity_info for the structures decoded by dmi_hpe_rack_locator_spec, of type DMI_TYPE(hpe_rack_locator), declared in <opendmi/module/hpe.h>, once the HPE extension module (dmi_hpe_module) is enabled, which it is for HP and HPE servers. It lives as long as the context it has been decoded in.
