Dell Memory Module Identifiers (Type 223)

Source: reverse engineered from the dumps of the data corpus.

Tells the manufacturer and the serial number of the memory modules, as their serial presence detect (SPD) data holds them, which the memory devices (type 17) of the older systems carry no fields for, e.g. in dell/poweredge-400sc.bin and dell/optiplex-gx110.bin. Each memory device is referred to by one record, and the records of the sockets which hold no module usually carry bytes of 0xFF: PowerEdge 1300 repeats the identifiers of a module in the record of an empty socket.

The structures whose identifiers are of another length than 12 bytes are not known, and are left undecoded.
