dmi_oob_remote_access
Synopsis
#include <opendmi/entity/oob-remote-access.h>
typedef struct dmi_oob_remote_access {
const char *vendor;
dmi_oob_connections_t connections;
} dmi_oob_remote_access_t;
Description
The dmi_oob_remote_access_t structure holds the decoded out-of-band remote
access structure (type 30) of SMBIOS: a hardware facility through which the
system can be reached remotely when its operating system cannot run, e.g.
because the system is powered down or fails to boot, and the connections the
facility is allowed to make and to accept.
The structure is returned by dmi_entity_info for the structures of type
DMI_TYPE(oob_remote_access), and lives as long as the context it has been
decoded in.
Fields
vendor-
Name of the manufacturer of the facility, or
nullptr. connections-
Connections the facility is allowed to accept and to make, see
dmi_oob_connections.
Examples
dmi_registry_t *registry = dmi_get_registry(context);
dmi_entity_t *entity = dmi_registry_lookup_first(registry,
DMI_TYPE(oob_remote_access), false);
dmi_oob_remote_access_t *access = dmi_entity_info(entity,
DMI_TYPE(oob_remote_access));
if (access != nullptr)
printf("Inbound: %s, outbound: %s\n",
access->connections.is_inbound_enabled ? "yes" : "no",
access->connections.is_outbound_enabled ? "yes" : "no");
