dmi_memory_module_error
Synopsis
#include <opendmi/entity/memory-module.h>
typedef union dmi_memory_module_error {
dmi_byte_t __value;
struct {
dmi_byte_t has_uncorrectable : 1;
dmi_byte_t has_correctable : 1;
dmi_byte_t has_event_log : 1;
dmi_byte_t __reserved : 5;
};
} dmi_memory_module_error_t;
Description
The dmi_memory_module_error_t union holds the error status of a memory
module as a set of bits, and is the type of the error_status field of
dmi_memory_module_t. The union gives access to the whole byte as well as to
the single bits.
Fields
__value-
Whole byte, as the data carries it.
has_uncorrectable-
1 if the module has had uncorrectable errors, and all or part of it has been disabled. The bit is cleared only at power-on.
has_correctable-
1 if the module has had correctable errors. The bit is cleared only at system reset.
has_event_log-
1 if the error status is to be read from the event log. The two bits above carry no information then.
__reserved-
Bits 3 to 7, reserved, and zero.
