dmi_intel_rsd_cpuid_subtype

Synopsis

#include <opendmi/entity/intel-rsd/processor-cpuid.h>

typedef enum dmi_intel_rsd_cpuid_subtype {
    DMI_INTEL_RSD_CPUID_SUBTYPE_BASIC    = 0x01,
    DMI_INTEL_RSD_CPUID_SUBTYPE_EXTENDED = 0x02
} dmi_intel_rsd_cpuid_subtype_t;

const char *dmi_intel_rsd_cpuid_subtype_name(
        dmi_intel_rsd_cpuid_subtype_t value);

Description

The dmi_intel_rsd_cpuid_subtype_t enumeration tells which set of CPUID leaves a processor CPUID information structure holds, and is the type of the subtype field of dmi_intel_rsd_processor_cpuid_t. The data of structures of other subtypes is kept as stored.

The dmi_intel_rsd_cpuid_subtype_name function returns the printable name of a value, as the command line tool shows it. The name is translated to the locale set with dmi_set_locale, when the library is built with ICU4C support and has a translation of it.

Values

DMI_INTEL_RSD_CPUID_SUBTYPE_BASIC

Leaves 00h to 10h.

DMI_INTEL_RSD_CPUID_SUBTYPE_EXTENDED

Leaves 14h to 80000008h.

Return value

dmi_intel_rsd_cpuid_subtype_name returns the name of the value, or nullptr if the value has no name. The name is a static string, which must not be modified or freed.

Errors

None.

Standards

Not part of the SMBIOS specification. Defined by Intel Rack Scale Design (RSD) firmware, see the Intel RSD Processor CPUID Information (Type 193) chapter of the reference manual.
