const char *dmi_error_detect_method_name(dmi_error_detect_method_t value);
Description
The dmi_error_detect_method_t enumeration tells how a memory controller
detects memory errors, and is the type of the error_detection field of
dmi_memory_controller_t.
The dmi_error_detect_method_name function returns the name of a value, as the
command line tool shows it.
Values
DMI_ERROR_DETECT_METHOD_UNSPEC-
Unspecified.
DMI_ERROR_DETECT_METHOD_OTHER-
Other.
DMI_ERROR_DETECT_METHOD_UNKNOWN-
Unknown.
DMI_ERROR_DETECT_METHOD_NONE-
No error detection.
DMI_ERROR_DETECT_METHOD_PARITY-
8-bit parity.
DMI_ERROR_DETECT_METHOD_ECC_32-
32-bit ECC.
DMI_ERROR_DETECT_METHOD_ECC_64-
64-bit ECC.
DMI_ERROR_DETECT_METHOD_ECC_128-
128-bit ECC.
DMI_ERROR_DETECT_METHOD_CRC-
CRC.
Return value
dmi_error_detect_method_name returns the name of the value, or nullptr if
the value has no name. The name is in English, or translated to the locale set
with dmi_set_locale when the library is built with localization support and
has a translation of it. The string must not be modified or freed; a translated
one stays valid until the locale is changed.
