dmi_system_log_status

Synopsis

#include <opendmi/entity/system-event-log.h>

typedef union dmi_system_log_status {
    dmi_byte_t __value;

    struct {
        dmi_byte_t is_log_area_valid : 1;
        dmi_byte_t is_log_area_full  : 1;
        dmi_byte_t __reserved        : 6;
    };
} dmi_system_log_status_t;

Description

The dmi_system_log_status_t union holds the status byte of the system event log, and is the type of the status field of dmi_system_event_log_t. The byte can be read as a whole through __value, or bit by bit through the named members.

The firmware may not keep the status up to date in the table, so it tells the state of the log at the time the table was built.

Fields

__value

Raw value of the status byte.

is_log_area_valid

Set if the log area holds a valid log.

is_log_area_full

Set if the log area is full.

__reserved

Reserved bits, set to 0.

Standards

DMTF SMBIOS Specification (DSP0134), version 2.0 or newer.
