const char *dmi_event_log_type_name(dmi_event_log_type_t value);
Description
The dmi_event_log_type_t enumeration tells the type of an event of the
system event log, and is the type of the type field of
dmi_system_log_type_descriptor_t. Values 0x00 and 0x0F are reserved,
values 0x18 to 0x7F are left for future use by the specification, and
values 0x80 to 0xFE are specific to the system or the OEM. The enumeration
also has private members, starting with two underscores, which mark the
bounds of these ranges.
The dmi_event_log_type_name function returns the printable name of a value,
as the command line tool shows it. The name is translated to the locale set
with dmi_set_locale, when the library is built with ICU4C support and has a
translation of it.
Values
DMI_EVENT_LOG_TYPE_SINGLE_BIT_ECC-
Single-bit ECC memory error.
DMI_EVENT_LOG_TYPE_MULTI_BIT_ECC-
Multi-bit ECC memory error.
DMI_EVENT_LOG_TYPE_PARITY-
Parity memory error.
DMI_EVENT_LOG_TYPE_BUS_TIMEOUT-
Bus time-out.
DMI_EVENT_LOG_TYPE_IO_CHANNEL_CHECK-
I/O channel check.
DMI_EVENT_LOG_TYPE_SOFTWARE_NMI-
Software non-maskable interrupt.
DMI_EVENT_LOG_TYPE_POST_MEMORY_RESIZE-
Memory size changed during the power-on self-test.
DMI_EVENT_LOG_TYPE_POST_ERROR-
Error during the power-on self-test.

Processor failure.
DMI_EVENT_LOG_TYPE_EISA_FAILSAFE_TIMEOUT-
EISA fail-safe timer time-out.
DMI_EVENT_LOG_TYPE_MEMORY_LOG_DISABLED-
Logging of correctable memory errors disabled.
DMI_EVENT_LOG_TYPE_LOGGING_DISABLED-
Logging disabled for one type of event, after too many events of that type in a short time.
DMI_EVENT_LOG_TYPE_LIMIT_EXCEEDED-
A limit of the system, such as a voltage or temperature threshold, has been exceeded.
DMI_EVENT_LOG_TYPE_TIMER_EXPIRED-
An asynchronous hardware timer has expired and reset the system.
DMI_EVENT_LOG_TYPE_CONFIG_INFO-
Information about the system configuration.
DMI_EVENT_LOG_TYPE_HARD_DISK_INFO-
Information about a hard disk.
DMI_EVENT_LOG_TYPE_RECONFIGURED-
