dmi_pci_addr
Synopsis
#include <opendmi/entity/common.h>
typedef struct dmi_pci_addr {
uint16_t segment_group;
uint8_t bus_number;
uint8_t device_number;
uint8_t function_number;
} dmi_pci_addr_t;
Description
The dmi_pci_addr_t structure holds the address of a PCI, AGP, PCI-X or PCI
Express function: its segment group, bus, device and function numbers. It is
shared by several structures: it is the type of the base_address field of
dmi_slot_t, of the address field of the peer groups of slots
(dmi_slot_peer_group_t), and of the address field of
dmi_onboard_device_ex_t.
SMBIOS packs the device and function numbers into one byte; the structure holds them apart. Devices which have no such address carry the largest value in each field.
Fields
segment_group-
Segment group, as the PCI firmware specification defines it. It is 0 for a single-segment topology, and
UINT16_MAXif not applicable. bus_number-
Bus number, or
UINT8_MAXif not applicable. device_number-
Device number, 0 to 31, or
UINT8_MAXif the bus number is not applicable. function_number-
Function number, 0 to 7, or
UINT8_MAXif the bus number is not applicable.
