dmi_hpe_nic_mac
Synopsis
#include <opendmi/entity/hpe/nic-mac.h>
typedef struct dmi_hpe_nic_mac {
uint16_t segment;
uint8_t bus;
uint8_t devfn;
dmi_binary_t mac_address;
dmi_hpe_nic_state_t state;
uint8_t port;
const char *uefi_device_path;
} dmi_hpe_nic_mac_t;
Description
The dmi_hpe_nic_mac_t structure holds the decoded HP/HPE NIC PCI and MAC
information, which describes a network port the firmware boots from over PXE,
one per structure.
The structure is returned by dmi_entity_info for the structures decoded
by dmi_hpe_nic_mac_spec, of type DMI_TYPE(hpe_nic), declared in
<opendmi/module/hpe.h>, once the HPE extension module (dmi_hpe_module) is
enabled, which it is for HP and HPE servers. It lives as long as the context
it has been decoded in.
Fields
segment-
PCI segment group, zero for a single group topology.
bus-
PCI bus.
devfn-
PCI device and function,
(device << 3) | function. mac_address-
MAC address.
state-
State of the port, see
dmi_hpe_nic_state: disabled if the bus and the device are zero, and not installed if they have all bits set. port-
Number of the port. Set to
UINT8_MAXwhen the structure holds none. uefi_device_path-
UEFI device path of the port.
