dmi_intel_vpro_mch_caps

Synopsis

#include <opendmi/entity/intel/vpro.h>

typedef union dmi_intel_vpro_mch_caps {
    dmi_dword_t __value;
    struct {
        dmi_dword_t is_vtd_capable : 1;
        dmi_dword_t is_vtd_enabled : 1;
        dmi_dword_t is_txt_capable : 1;
        dmi_dword_t is_txt_enabled : 1;
        dmi_dword_t __reserved     : 28;
    };
} dmi_intel_vpro_mch_caps_t;

Description

The dmi_intel_vpro_mch_caps_t union holds the capabilities of the memory controller hub, which the older layout of Intel vPro information holds in place of the version of the BIOS extension. It is the type of the mch_capabilities field of dmi_intel_vpro_t.

The union is packed into a double word: the bits can be read either one by one, as bit fields, or all together, as __value.

Fields

__value

All the bits, as the double word at offset 0x0C of the structure, is_vtd_capable being bit 0.

is_vtd_capable

Set if the chipset supports Virtualization Technology for Directed I/O (VT-d).

is_vtd_enabled

Set if VT-d is enabled.

is_txt_capable

Set if the chipset supports Trusted Execution Technology.

is_txt_enabled

Set if Trusted Execution Technology is enabled.

__reserved

Reserved bits, zero.
