Description

The dmi_intel_vpro_cpu_caps_t union holds the capabilities of the processor, as Intel vPro information gives them. It is the type of the cpu_capabilities field of dmi_intel_vpro_t.

The union is packed into a double word: the bits can be read either one by one, as bit fields, or all together, as __value.

Fields

__value

All the bits, as the double word the structure carries them in, is_vmx_enabled being bit 0.

is_vmx_enabled

Set if the virtual machine extensions (VMX) are enabled.

is_smx_enabled

Set if the safer mode extensions (SMX) are enabled.

is_txt_capable

Set if the processor supports Trusted Execution Technology (TXT).

is_txt_enabled

Set if Trusted Execution Technology is enabled.

is_vtx_capable

Set if the processor supports Virtualization Technology (VT-x).

is_vtx_enabled

Set if Virtualization Technology is enabled.

__reserved

Reserved bits, zero.
