Intel RSD Cabled PCIe Port Information (Type 199)

Source: Intel® RSD Firmware Extension Specification Software v2.3.2 (document 337201-003US), section 3.10.

Declares a cabled PCIe port on the fixed side of a system: a port which carries PCIe lanes over a cable, usually through an adapter on the board or in a PCIe slot. A structure describes a cable management interface (CMI) controller of the port, and is present only if the system has cabled PCIe ports. The ports follow the PCI Express External Cabling Specification, revision 3.0, and are reached by the management controller over SMBus to identify and manage the cables.

The firmware and the management controller give the same slot ID to a physical slot. How they agree on it, and on the slots and link widths of the ports, is left out of the specification.
