Description
The dmi_slot_features_ex_t union holds the second set of characteristics of a
system slot: the signals and removal modes it supports, lane bifurcation and
CXL capabilities. It is the type of the features_ex field of dmi_slot_t,
present since SMBIOS 2.1 and zero in older data. A bit is set when the slot has
the property.
Fields
__value-
Raw value of the byte,
has_pme_supportbeing bit 0. has_pme_support-
The PCI slot supports the power management event (PME#) signal.
has_hotplug_support-
Devices can be plugged into the slot and removed from it while the system runs.
has_smbus_support-
The PCI slot supports the SMBus signal.
has_bifurcation_support-
The PCI Express slot can split its lanes between two or more devices plugged into it. The bit does not tell which splits the slot supports.
has_async_removal_support-
Devices can be removed from the slot without telling the operating system, the driver or the applications first (surprise removal).
is_cxl_10_capable-
The slot is a Flex Bus slot capable of CXL 1.0.
is_cxl_20_capable-
The slot is a Flex Bus slot capable of CXL 2.0.
is_cxl_30_capable-
The slot is a Flex Bus slot capable of CXL 3.0.
