dmi_processor_rv64_data
Synopsis
#include <opendmi/entity/processor-ex.h>
struct dmi_processor_rv64_data {
dmi_processor_revision_t revision;
dmi_qword_t hart_id;
dmi_qword_t vendor_id;
dmi_qword_t arch_id;
dmi_qword_t machine_impl_id;
};
Description
The dmi_processor_rv64_data structure describes the processor-specific data
of the processor additional information structures (type 44) of RISC-V
processors: the hardware thread (hart) described, and the identification
registers of its machine mode. The structure has no typedef.
The structure is packed: it has no padding, and its fields are laid out as in
the data, whose multi-byte values are little-endian. The decoder does not use
it: it may be laid over the data field of dmi_processor_ex_t to read the
processor-specific data, once its architecture and length have been checked.
Fields
revision-
Revision of the format of the data.
hart_id-
Identifier of the hart the data are about.
vendor_id-
Vendor of the core, as the
mvendoridregister holds it. arch_id-
Base microarchitecture of the hart, as the
marchidregister holds it. machine_impl_id-
Version of the implementation of the processor, as the
mimpidregister holds it.
Standards
Not part of the SMBIOS specification itself, which leaves the format of the RISC-V processor-specific data to the SMBIOS requirements of the RISC-V Boot and Runtime Services specification (https://github.com/riscv-non-isa/riscv-brs).
