dmi_lenovo_oem

Synopsis

#include <opendmi/entity/lenovo/oem.h>

typedef struct dmi_lenovo_oem {
    dmi_binary_t signature;
    uint8_t offset;
    uint8_t number;
    uint8_t revision;
    dmi_binary_t data;
} dmi_lenovo_oem_t;

Description

The dmi_lenovo_oem_t structure holds a decoded Lenovo OEM structure whose layout is not known, with its data as the structure holds it.

Lenovo firmware carries OEM data in structures of type 135, signed TP, and of type 140, signed LENOVO. Each structure holds one OEM structure, told by its number and revision, which follow the signature and the offset of the number. The structures holding the OEM structures of known layouts are told by their signature together with the number and the revision, and the rest by the signature alone.

The structure is returned by dmi_entity_info for the structures decoded by dmi_lenovo_mobile_oem_spec, of type DMI_TYPE(lenovo_mobile_oem), and by dmi_lenovo_oem_spec, of type DMI_TYPE(lenovo_oem), declared in <opendmi/module/lenovo.h>, once the Lenovo extension module (dmi_lenovo_module) is enabled, which is done for IBM and Lenovo platforms. It lives as long as the context it has been decoded in.
