dmi_processor_voltage_data
Synopsis
#include <opendmi/entity/processor.h>
typedef union dmi_processor_voltage_data {
dmi_byte_t __value;
struct {
dmi_byte_t value : 7;
dmi_byte_t is_current : 1;
};
} dmi_processor_voltage_data_t;
Description
The dmi_processor_voltage_data_t union describes the voltage field of the
processor information structure (type 4) of SMBIOS as it is stored: one byte
holding either the current voltage of the processor or the voltages its
socket accepts.
The decoder splits the field into the voltage and supported_voltages
fields of dmi_processor_t, so the union is only needed to read or build the
stored byte. The specification deprecates the field since SMBIOS 3.8.
Fields
__value-
Stored byte.
value-
Current voltage, in tenths of volt, if
is_currentis set, and the set of the supported voltages in the layout ofdmi_processor_voltagesotherwise. is_current-
Set if
valueholds the current voltage, clear in the legacy mode, where it holds the supported voltages.
