Description
The dmi_hpe_dimm_config_t structure holds the decoded HP/HPE DIMM current
configuration record, which describes a memory region configured on a module
of a memory device (type 17), e.g. of a persistent memory one, and the
interleave set it belongs to. There is a record for each region.
The structure is returned by dmi_entity_info for the structures decoded
by dmi_hpe_dimm_config_spec, of type DMI_TYPE(hpe_dimm_config), declared
in <opendmi/module/hpe.h>, once the HPE extension module (dmi_hpe_module)
is enabled, which it is for HP and HPE servers. It lives as long as the
context it has been decoded in.
Fields
device_handle-
Handle of the memory device structure (type 17).
region_id-
ID of the region, unique on the module.
is_volatile-
Whether the region is volatile, its data lost on a power cycle.
is_byte_accessible-
Whether the region is byte accessible persistent memory, its data kept through a reset.
is_block_io-
Whether the region is block I/O persistent memory.
raw_size-
Size of the region in mebibytes, as the structure holds it.
size-
Size of the region in bytes.
passphrase_state-
State of the passphrase, as the structure holds it.
is_passphrase_enabled-
Whether a passphrase is required, byte accessible persistent regions only: any state other than zero.
interleave_set-
1-based index of the interleave set of the region, unique per set. Regions of the same index are interleaved.
interleave_dimm_count-
Number of the DIMMs of the interleave set.
interleave_health-
Health of the interleave set, see
dmi_hpe_interleave_health, orDMI_HPE_INTERLEAVE_HEALTH_ABSENTif the structure is too short to hold it.
