dmi_intel_vpro_tpm_caps

Synopsis

#include <opendmi/entity/intel/vpro.h>

typedef union dmi_intel_vpro_tpm_caps {
    dmi_dword_t __value;
    struct {
        dmi_dword_t is_tpm_present : 1;
        dmi_dword_t is_tpm_enabled : 1;
        dmi_dword_t __reserved     : 14;
        dmi_dword_t tcg_major      : 8;
        dmi_dword_t tcg_minor      : 8;
    };
} dmi_intel_vpro_tpm_caps_t;

Description

The dmi_intel_vpro_tpm_caps_t union holds the capabilities of the Trusted Platform Module, as Intel vPro information gives them. It is the type of the tpm_capabilities field of dmi_intel_vpro_t.

The union is packed into a double word: the bits can be read either one by one, as bit fields, or all together, as __value.

Fields

__value

All the bits, as the double word the structure carries them in, is_tpm_present being bit 0.

is_tpm_present

Set if a TPM is on board.

is_tpm_enabled

Set if the TPM is enabled.

__reserved

Reserved bits, zero.

tcg_major, tcg_minor

Version of the TCG specification the TPM is designed to, e.g. 1 and 2 for TPM 1.2. Zero if not given. The structure holds them in the tcg_major and tcg_minor fields of dmi_intel_vpro_t as well.
