Description
The dmi_mgmt_nhi_format_t enumeration tells which member of dmi_mgmt_nhi_t
holds the decoded descriptor of a network host interface device, and is the
type of the format field of dmi_mgmt_nhi_t. The values are not carried by
the data: they are chosen while the descriptor is decoded, after its device
type and its length.
Values
DMI_MGMT_NHI_FORMAT_RAW-
The descriptor has not been decoded, because its device type is unknown or it is malformed. Only the
descriptorfield holds it. DMI_MGMT_NHI_FORMAT_USB-
USB network interface, decoded into the
usbfield. DMI_MGMT_NHI_FORMAT_PCI-
PCI or PCIe network interface, decoded into the
pcifield. DMI_MGMT_NHI_FORMAT_USB_V2-
USB network interface, second version of the descriptor, decoded into the
usb_v2field. DMI_MGMT_NHI_FORMAT_PCI_V2-
PCI or PCIe network interface, second version of the descriptor, decoded into the
pci_v2field. DMI_MGMT_NHI_FORMAT_OEM-
OEM-defined device, decoded into the
oemfield.
